  • Currently, our delivery day is Friday and Saturday. However, you can reach us via phone or email from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

  • posy people is an online flower delivery business. We deliver locally sourced flowers, potted plants and gifts to your best buds for that special occasion, that hard breakup, or just to remind them that they are loved and appreciated.

    Let us break it down: We offer a different posy, arrangement and single stem every Friday. We also have a range of potted plants and gifts available. On Thursday we upload a photo of Friday’s flowers on our website and socials. You have until 12noon on Friday to place your order for same day delivery.

    Deliveries are made between 1pm - 5pm.

  • We currently offer the following products:

    • a posy

    • an arrangement (this is a larger bouquet style of our posy)

    • seasonal special

    • single stem

    • potted plant

    • a range of consciously curated gifts that can be added onto your flower order

  • No we don’t!! :) delivery is included.

  • At this stage we cannot take custom orders. We work with fresh, locally sourced and seasonal flowers.

  • We don’t have a shopfront, we are solely an online business.

  • Our posies come in a compostable wet pack

  • As the word posy suggests, our posies are small and super cute. You can expect 5-8 stems. The stem count depends on flower variety, size and overall design we chose.

    the arrangement is a larger style bouquet and is usually double the size of our posy.

  • We buy our flowers cut fresh from local growers the day before you get them. Different flowers naturally have different lifespans, however, when stored correctly you can expect to enjoy your posy for 5-7 days (or longer!) Check out our posy care tips

  • Yes! We are proud to say that our cardboard, tissue paper, gift boxes, stickers, ribbon and twine are 100% compostable and biodegradable.

    rip shred or cut it as small as possible and pop into your compost (home or commercial)

    our cardboard is Heavy Metal Free features no Chlorine or SVHC chemicals and is produced with a natural dye.

    tissue is FSC certified and acid free, soy based inks and carbon neutral

    ribbon made from wood fibre, Skin-Friendly & Anti-Bacterial and use Stable & Soy-based colours. Industrial compostable.

    gift box are made from 30% Recycled material and FSC Certified & Acid-Free Paper. Soy/plant based ink.

    stickers 100% recyclable and compostable, and made with FSC-certified materials and soy-based inks.

    business card can be placed in your home recycling bin.

  • We are currently delivering to the suburbs listed here. To avoid disappointment, please do not order for a suburb that isn’t listed without checking with us first.

    Your suburb not on our list? Shoot us an email, (mail@posypeople.com.au) and we will let you know if this is possible. We will also keep it in mind for when we expand our delivery zone!

  • Please provide as much information as possible to ensure we get your order delivered on time. If applicable, please include:

    • Name of person receiving flowers.

    • Flat numbers

    • Floor levels

    • Business names if applicable

    • Ward/Room number for hospital deliveries NB: If you are sending flowers to a hospital, be aware that some may not accept flowers to ICU/Emergency wards. Many hospitals have a short supply of vases for patients too. *Due to COVID19 some hospitals are not taking any deliveries, please check with the hospital before ordering.

    • Shop name/number for shopping centres are all very useful for our couriers.

    Please take the utmost care to provide us with the correct and up to date address information.

  • If an incorrect delivery address is provided, we will do our best to contact you to get the correct address to make sure your posy is delivered.

    If we can’t reach you, or the correct address does not fit in with our delivery schedule we can redeliver the next day but at a cost of $20.

  • Unfortunately not.

    We currently only deliver Friday 1pm-5pm. To reduce emissions and to get all orders delivered by 5pm we take the most economical route.

  • If no one is home we will attempt to leave the flowers/plants in a safe and cool place. Please be mindful especially in warmer months being left out in these conditions can affect there longevity.

    If we are unable to find an appropriate location, as a last resort we will need to take the flowers/plant back with us. We can re-deliver the next day however this will incur our redelivery fee of $20.

    *please note we will not leave flowers and gifts unattended at Units, townhouses and flats. The recipient must be home. If no one is home re-delivery fee applies. For business deliveries, our couriers may leave the flowers with reception, mailroom or a co-worker if accepted.

  • When your posy has been delivered the sender will receive an email confirming delivery.

    If the posy is left somewhere safe, the sender will receive a text with a photo showing where the order has been left.

  • This is a one off charge of $176. Each week, for four weeks, a our ‘$49 posy’ will be delivered on Friday by 5pm. It will be the posy of the day.

  • This is an ongoing charge of $50 per month. On the first Friday of each month our seasonal special of the week will be delivered in a compostable wet pack, wrapped in tissue paper and hand tied off with twine.

  • Yes, your nominated card will be charged on the same day each month until you cancel your subscription. Please note we require 48 hours notice so we can cancel this service in time.

  • The general rule is to keep them out of reach! There are some flowers and plant varieties that come with warnings for kids and pets. Depending on the plant or flower toxicity can vary from allergic reactions, pain, irritations or more. For more information on this please visit Raisingchild.net.au and the RSPCA website. We take no responsibility for what you decide to do with our flowers and plants.

  • As per the Liquor and Gaming laws for NSW. If the recipient looks under the age of 25 years old, we will ask for ID at the time of delivery.

  • Yes you still need to be over 18yrs old.

  • Unfortunately no. All gifts are to be sent with either flowers or a potted plant.

  • please remember to leave your name in your message. If it hasnt been left in the message, it will not be added as per privacy laws

  • unwrap your flowers - pop the wrapping in the compost :)

    when adding back to your super clean vase! give the stems a trim (about 2cm)

    change the water every day (painful but so worth it!)

    avoid direct sunlight, choose a draft-free area and keep away from your fruit bowl.

    cheeky tip - pop your flowers in the fridge overnight! Flowers like a cooler climate and the low temp helps slow their ageing.

  • recipients must be home.

    cakes are an add-on gift only and will not be delivered on its own.

    cake colours may vary

    cakes are subject to availability - if you purchase a cake and its not available you will be contacted via phone asap and a refund will be provided. Please note the refund could take up to a week.

    to ensure freshness and no little critters (and the next door neighbours) getting into the cake, cakes are only delivered in person. Under no circumstances are cakes left unattended.

    If the recipient is not there to accept the delivery. We are unable to give a refund based on our terms and conditions. We don’t offer re-delivery on cakes.
